Through well-choreographed workshops, I have seen teams break through boredom and make real progress as they come together in fun and meaningful ways to prepare for, manage, and thrive through change.
Design projects typically begin in response to or preparation for a significant business or organizational change: new product, service, new audience, new distribution, new brand. When I worked with clients in the initial discovery process, it was not unusual to observe disconnects or gaps in team knowledge between the design ask and the root cause of change. I started to see how better team preparation could create a much more efficient design process.
As part of a facilitation team at a global consulting firm, I was able to learn, practice, and design workshop frameworks that resulted in more innovative and creative outcomes from teams. More importantly, workshops allowed teams to quickly GET ON THE SAME PAGE, creating a space of empathy and alignment. Now Iām working to help businesses and organizations get further BEFORE they get to any visual design execution, to build alignment and tackle their most important challenges creatively while building a firm foundation for their brands.
